Dr. Hurst is a highly regarded Board Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with over 15 years of experience in the treatment of vascular disease. He received his training at the University of Michigan, where he also completed his Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship. He is a three time recipient of Cincinnati Magazines “Top Doctor” award.
Dr. Lawler received his BS from the University of Cincinnati and his MD from Ohio State University in 1995. He completed both his Residency and his Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate in added qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
At time of a patient’s initial consult, if you present with symptoms of vein disease (such as ropey, bulging veins, pain and leg swelling at end of day, clusters of spider veins around the ankles), our vein specialists at Vascular and Interventional Associates will recommend a Doppler Vascular Ultrasound to fully evaluate and confirm the presence of venous reflux in the patient.
